Resolve Ogaden Coalition, is a national non-profit organization dedicated to saving and helping the Somali Ogaden people in East Africa. Headquartered in the United States, we are committed to ending the poverty and suffering of the Somali Ogaden people, and finally putting an end to the inhumanity and conflict these, good people have endured for decades
We recognize that the international community has far too long overlooked the plight and survival of the Ogaden people in East Africa and elsewhere. And we recognize that it is our duty as concerned citizens of the United States and international community that we awaken the hearts and minds of people all over the world and encourage you and them to join us. Help us save the Ogaden people and put an end to the catastrophic conflict. We can accomplish this. And you can help us do so!
In addition, our complete aim is:
1. To offer a progressive, democratic solution to the issue of Ogaden self-determination.
2. To build alliances with religious institutions, college and university students, workers and unions, and grass-roots, community-based organizations, and other nations, by facilitating and organizing educational programs and presentations on the current and historical political situation in the Ogaden.
3. To safeguard the political, civil, and human rights of the inhabitants of the Ogaden.
4. To restrict the exploitation of the region's natural resources until the conflict in the Ogaden is resolved.
Lastly, to structure international mediated negations between the Ogaden National Liberation Front and the Ethiopian government.
